Caitlin holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia. Her research expertise is on the urban and policy impacts of development projects in sport mega-event host cities, with focus on the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. As Principal of Halcyon Sport and Event Consulting, Caitlin delivers custom, research-driven analyses for clients including bid and
organizing committees, host
cities, and international governing bodies.
Caitlin completed research projects funded by the IOC and FIFA, having led one of the largest research projects on the social impacts of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She has been certified in Global Reporting Initiative since 2011 and has experience working with the Event Organizers’ Sector Supplement and Olympic Games Impact Study.
