World Cup and World League Focus at Leaders in Football
The World Cup will no doubt be in focus at Leaders in Football with Alcino Rocha, Director, Brazilian Ministry of Sports attending along with Dr Irvin Khoza, and Kjetil Siem, Chairman and CEO respectively of South Africa’s Premier Soccer League. Joining them will be Ben Buckley, CEO, Football Federations Australia and his management team as well as Chairman of The FA, Lord Triesman, and Brian Barwick, the current CEO.
Over the last 2 weeks delegations from far and wide have confirmed their attendance at Chelsea FC. From Federations Yousuf Mohd Abdullah, General Secretary of the UAE FA, Mohammad Derakhshan Mobarakeh, Director of Iranian Federation and Winston Lee, CEO, Singapore FA will all be attending. Singapore will also be represented by Mr Oon Jin Teik, and Ms Rakel Liew, CEO and Director of the Singapore Sports Council.
From Professional Leagues, José Joaquín Hernández Rojas, President of the Costa Rican League, Fredéric Thiriez, President of the LFP, Dumitru Dragomir, President of The Romanian League and Dimitri Ramishvili President, Georgian League have all confirmed their presence at Leaders in Football
With just 2 weeks to go, and the event nearly sold out, the organisers are expecting a sell out to be announced within the next week.
