WorldSBK.com Official Website Relaunched
Infront implements next step in the development of Superbike series
Rome / Milan, Italy, 3 April 2009 – The official HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship (SBK) website – www.worldsbk.com – has been re-launched today with a radical facelift to coincide with the first European round of the Superbike World Championship, which takes place in Valencia (Spain) this weekend.
Produced through a collaboration between Infront Motor Sports and Infront Advanced Media Solutions, the Infront group’s dedicated competence centre for the distribution of new media sports rights, the new website retains all the user-friendly features of the previous version combined with an exciting new graphic layout. It is designed to give the multitude of fans all over the world the most complete Superbike experience possible.
Live streaming feature
The new website offers many key features, including live streaming. This is produced in collaboration with WorldSBK’s Italian broadcast partner La7 and enables users to watch the World Superbike races live with English language commentary. It will be available for all races on Sunday and the Superpole on Saturday. Due to existing broadcasting license agreements with various SBK media rights licensees, this service is not available in certain countries and territories. Other new features include
live timing, to accompany the live streaming feature with a real-time update of the official race timing system.
The website also offers the latest news, results, standings and updates from the Superbike, Supersport and Superstock Championships; a photo gallery with spectacular imagery directly from the racetrack; statistics and downloads for fans, such as screensavers.
The special section ”Ride WorldSBK.com” gives B2B information on VIP Hospitality, Licensing, Sponsorship, the SBK Official Store, ticketing and more.
