SoLive and Concacaf partner to bring premium social media content to fans in a multi-year agreement

Soccer - 14 Feb 2018

Paris and Miami, 13 February 2018 - SOLIVE, the live-publishing software, and the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced an agreement to ensure maximum awareness of its competitions on social media. Starting with the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League this month, the confederation will use SOLIVE across multiple national teams and club competitions, both for men, women as well as youth tournaments.

Through this new agreement with CONCACAF, one of the six Confederations forming the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). SOLIVE is leveraging its status as one of the leaders regarding live-publishing solutions for sport stakeholders.

For Florent Marty, Managing Director of SOLIVE, “We are proud to expand our services in this region with such a prestigious partner. SOLIVE bridges the gap between quality of content and reactivity, two important factors to generate engagement on social media. Solive is now working with over 30 clients in 8 different countries and CONCACAF will showcase all over the world the best of what SOLIVE has to offer.”

SOLIVE, a France based company, founded in 2015, has changed the way right-holders, brands and broadcasters share their key game facts live on social media during sporting events. The software allows its users to create and push static and animated content, to be published on every social network, in every desired language in less than 20 seconds. Since 2015, SOLIVE has been a total game-changer to leverage attention, fan engagement while creating a new monetization model for its clients and their sponsors.

“CONCACAF will become the first continental confederation to supplement its existing social media feed with premium contents produced via SOLIVE. We are constantly evolving to remain at the forefront of digital media, as we continue providing our fans with the best platforms to witness the game’s action in unique, timely and memorable ways. Our partnership with SOLIVE represents an opportunity to monetize our contents and to connect sponsors with our growing audience,” said Jean Manuel Jimenez, Director of Digital Products and Emerging Technologies of CONCACAF.

Even though the biennial Gold Cup for full national teams and the annual Scotiabank Champions League for clubs are CONCACAF’s most visible competitions, the confederation organizes championships at the under-17 under20 levels for men and women that lead to direct qualification for FIFA competitions.  It also supports FIFA in coordinating qualifying tournaments for the World Cup, the Women’s World Cup and Olympic Games, plus the Beach Soccer and Futsal World Cups.
