Sina 5X5 Golden Futsal League announces DongFeng Fengshen as 2018 title sponsor

Futsal - 03 Jul 2018

Sina Sports announced Dongfeng Fengshen as the title sponsor of the 2018 edition of its 5X5 Golden Futsal League. Dongfeng is a high-end passenger vehicle brand ranked as the fourth largest Chinese automobile maker in China.

The 5X5 Golden Futsal League is a flagship event independently operated by Sina Sports. It is the most influential 5X5 football event with the largest scale and commercial value in China. Through this title sponsorship, Dongfeng Fengshen will take the brand as the carrier, the product as the foundation and the event as the means, to achieve multi-sports marketing that features a wider range of coverage and targets at younger and fash-ionable consumers.

The 2018 edition Dongfeng Fengshen Golden Futsal League will cover 25 cities, such as Lanzhou, Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Guiyang, Kunming, Zhengzhou, Changchun, Wuhan, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. It is estimated that over 32,000 football players from more than 3,200 teams will participate in this event. After all the city stops in six months, the final championship will be held in November in Guang Zhou. The champion team of each city will compete for the annual final championship. The total prize is up to RMB1 million, which makes 2018 Golden League Tournament become the top 5X5 football event in China.

The 2018 DongFeng FengShen 5X5 Golden Futsal League will open up registration channels, enabling players of each city to sign up on the official website of Sina Sports. Sina Sports will also invite famous Chinese football players to act as “Golden Futsal League Coaches” to promote the event in various cities.

Wei Jianglei, Senior Vice President of Sina and General Manager of Sina Sports, said, “the Golden Futsal League plays a key role in Dongfeng Fengshen’s sports marketing strategy in 2018. Through this partnership, a wide range of coverage and brand exposure can give Dongfeng Fengshen a good opportunity to attract traffic with Sina Sports power-ful media resources and dominant social network influence.
