Given the limited facilities and accommodation available for broadcasters during the 2004 Olympic Games, STEFI Productions & Gearhouse Broadcast are converging to provide a number of alternatives that can be provided according to your specific production needs and requirements.
With STEFI’s local knowledge of customs, contacts and services, combined with Gearhouse’s track record of managing major sporting televisual events across the globe, the partnership is seamless.
LOGISTICS –
* International & local freight
* Onsite delivery warehousing
* Local transportation – including cars, bikes, trucks, complete with local drivers
* Fully equipped office spaces or portable offices (trailers) – complete with ISDN links, ADSL lines & fibre
* Accommodation for staff & crew
CREW –
* Experienced local & foreign operational and/or technical crew
TECHNICAL FACILITIES –
* 3 camera studio – lighting grid, audio control, production control
* 1 camera studio – for single camera stand up or links
* 3 machine linear edit suites – DVC Pro / Digi Beta, PAL or NTSC
* 2 machine linear edit suite - DVC Pro / Digi Beta, PAL or NTSC
* Moveable edit suite – flyaway unit for set up according to your specifications
* Non-linear edit suites – Avid
* ENG camera – DVC Pro / Digi Beta, PAL or NTSC
* Dubbing facilities – DVC Pro, Digi, DV, SX, SP standard conversion
* Live broadcast locations – with backdrops throughout central Athens, measuring 10 x 10 or 10 x 15 metres
FEED FACILITIES –
* Uplink facilities – single or multiple feeds on single or multiple satellite hops
TECHNICAL BACK-UP –
* Highly qualified engineers – available on an hourly basis
SHORT & LONG TERM HIRE –
* Temporary equipment hire – including Eng cameras, editing & vision equipment, lenses, monitors, VTRs, lighting & audio kit, etc
PROJECT MANAGEMENT –
* Project manager available from November 2002 to liaise with and discuss your broadcast requirements for the 2004 Olympic Games
