ACF Fiorentina and SPORTFIVE Sign Cooperation

Soccer - 11 Sep 2006

Hamburg / September 11, 2006 – ACF Fiorentina and international sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE have agreed to join forces in marketing the advertising rights of the club. While the team of coach Cesare Prendelli prepares for the encounters with the competing clubs on the pitch, SPORTFIVE will be handling the club’s rights in and around Stadio Artemi Franchi, including perimeter boards, screens and sponsor backdrops as well as hospitality areas.

As Serie A kicks off, the fan stands aren’t the only spaces that will fill with spectators here to cheer last season’s top scorer and World Champion Luca Toni and his colleagues. The elegant business areas also await their visitors – and from now on, SPORTFIVE will be responsible for selling of the 200 exclusive business seats on the main stand Tribuna d’Onore, the place to meet and greet with clients, guests and other Fiorentina fans.

Fiorentina’s Managing Director, Sandro Mencucci: “We decided that SPORTFIVE is the right partner for us because they are the European leader in sports marketing with a strong foothold in Italy. They have a lot of experience and are dedicated to supporting us in many matters of advertising rights.”

Philip Cordes, CEO SPORTFIVE: “We are looking forward to handling the marketing rights for Fiorentina which has a long and successful history of 80 years in Italian football.”
