Cancellation of Phuket's race

Due to the disaster that on December 26th  severely damaged South East Asia the Grand Prix of Thailand  scheduled in Phuket on March 13th has been cancelled.

At present the civic infracstructure  is reaching  the full recovery and places again Phuket amongst the most beautiful tourist resorts in the world, but, in agreement with the local organiser, we have decided to postpone the race to a later date to be announced and to deploy the sum reserved for the Presentation of the Season to aid the victim of the tsunami.

For these reasons the 2005 UIM F1 Racing Calendar has to be revised and it will be announced soonest.
