Carrard & Associes - Case law from the Sochi Olympic Games
The article summarises each of the four cases which were referred to the CAS Ad Hoc Division at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games and sets out the key learnings. Three of the cases were brought by athletes who argued that they should have been selected to participate in the Sochi Games; the final case was an application to disqualify three medal winners for violating the applicable competition rules.
