Cooperation Between Fita and Toxofil

Archery - 15 Jun 2009

The International Archery Federation (FITA) and the Canadian manufacturer of archers-designed technical clothing TOXOFIL are pleased to announce the signature of a cooperation agreement. Under the terms of this agreement, designated products offered by TOXOFIL are identified as “Official archery wear”.

These clothes, which meet the federation dress regulations, possess premium quality technical features, from ventilation and elasticity to a conservative yet modern design. They will bear the FITA logo as an indication of this recognition.

TOXOFIL will carry out direct sales of the clothes through its website www.toxofil.com as well as through its authorised dealers’ network. Besides, both organisations have started to discuss the development of a brand new clothing collection that will reflect the World Archery colours.

“We are very pleased with the recognition demonstrated by the archery highest-ranking international authority, emphasises Francis LETOURNEAU, President of TOXOFIL Inc. We think that archers from around the world will be glad to wear high quality clothing officially recognised by FITA. We will allow them to abide by the rules while presenting themselves in a way that will enhance the overall image of archery”.

“The Federation is proud to rely upon a new partner from the technical textile industry, explains Tom DIELEN, FITA Secretary General. The outstanding presence of TOXOFIL with the archers, regional clubs, and national teams will no doubt have a positive impact on the visibility, recognition and the archer’s sense of belonging towards the FITA in the archery’s worldwide family”.

TOXOFIL Inc. is a Canadian business specialised in the conception, manufacturing and marketing of premium quality clothing and accessories specifically designed for target and 3D archery.
