Couchman Harrington Advises FA Premier League Rights Buyers

Couchman Harrington Associates (CHA), the leading sport and media law firm, has advised a number of rights agencies and broadcasters on various acquisitions of FA Premier Leagu (FAPL) audio-visual media rights covering over 130 countries worldwide. Following the FAPL’s Invitations to Tender for live broadcast rights and Internet and mobile clip rights, several of CHA’s clients were successful in their bids. CHA Partner Dan Harrington led a team of lawyers advising on the bids and negotiations of contracts for multiple clients, including:

 AMI’s acquisition of live FAPL broadcast rights for Bulgaria and Russia;
 
 AMI’s acquisition of FAPL mobile and Internet clip rights for over 25 territories throughout Central and Eastern Europe;

 Gateway Broadcast Services’ acquisition of live FAPL broadcast rights throughout Sub- Saharan Africa;

 Multi Media Sport’s acquisition of live FAPL broadcast rights for Spain;

 Nimbus Sport International’s acquisition of FAPL mobile and Internet clip rights for over 80 territories throughout the World; and

 Sporever’s acquisition of FAPL mobile and Internet clip rights for France.
