CSI Acquires European Cup Rugby Television Rights
London - international sports marketing company CSI Ltd has acquired exclusive worldwide television rights to the European Rugby Cup, excluding rights for the territories of the participating nations.
The European Rugby Cup features 24 of the best clubs/provinces from England (6), France (6), Ireland (3), Italy (2), Scotland (2), and Wales (5). The teams qualified through last season's league and provincial competitions.
CSI will distribute a total of 79 matches commencing with Round 1 (scheduled 19th/20th/21st November 1999) through to the final (scheduled 27th May 2000).
