Cycling Adopts New Anti-Doping Rules
Following its second meeting day in Salzburg (AUT), the International Cycling Union’s Management Committee has adopted its new Anti-doping Rules, taking into account the World Anti-doping Code as well as general principles of law.
These new Anti-doping Rules will come into force next 13th of August.
The Management Committee has also definitively approved the UCI’s Code of Ethics and Rules of Good Governance.
Amongst other decisions taken today, the Management Committee has accepted the introduction, as from the 2005 season, of technical assistance in Cross-country events, and the instauration of a closer cooperation with BMX Freestyle.
