Delhi 2010 Games' Preparation Steps Up
The appointments underline the strong working relationship between the International Sporting Federations, the CGF and the Organising Committee in Delhi.
The Technical Delegates will play a vital liaison role between the CGF, the Organising Committee and the International Federations and provide advice on their sport’s technical conduct and presentation.
CGF CEO Mike Hooper said he was delighted to name such a strong support team.
“We are thrilled to have such high quality Technical Delegates helping us make the Delhi Games a success,” Mr Hooper said.
“These appointments underline the important role the Games are playing within the operations and programs of so many sports.”
The Technical Delegates confirmed by sport were:

Gymnastics Men's Artistic, Mr. Andry Tombs (Great Britain)
Gymnastics Women's Artistic, Ms. Kym Dowdell (Australia)
Gymnastics Rhythmic, Ms. Tamara Bompa (Canada)
Lawn Bowls, Mr. Kerry Clark (New Zealand)
Netball , Ms. Lindy Murphy (Australia)
Rugby 7s, Ms. Beth Coalter (Ireland)
Shooting, Mr. David R.V. Parish (Great Britain)
Squash, Mr. Andrew Shelley (England)
Table Tennis, Mr. Alan Ransome (England)
Tennis, Mr. Paul Smith (England)
Weightlifting, Dr. Tamas Ajan (Hungary)
There are three sports yet to nominate their technical delegates. Aquatics, Hockey and Wrestling appointments are expected in the near future.
