EBU appointed to co-ordinate the distribution of the FEI World Cup Western European League
Following a meeting in Geneva between the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), it has been agreed that the EBU will co-ordinate the signal of each of the FEI World Cup Western European League qualifiers.
The EBU are responsible for the distribution of many major sporting events, including the Football Champions League, the Formula One Grand Prix and the Tour de France.
This is an important step forward in the relationship between the FEI and the EBU. This co-operation will add to the increased exposure recently established as a result of the contract to distribute the television of the FEI's major championships up to and including the World Equestrian Games in 2002.
