ESPN Seek Sponsorship Sales Manager/Director for X-Games
Following the success of ESPN’s X Games in the US and
internationally, we are now looking to develop X Games
in Europe. As a result, we have an opportunity for a
sponsorship sales person to build the brand through
European based events.
As the X Games advocate for Europe, your key
responsibility will be to create and implement the X Games
sponsorship sales strategies including sourcing sponsors for
European based X events. Your sales plan will include all
promotions, on-site, on-air and on-line opportunities.
Managing all aspects of sponsorship sales, you will oversee
client liaison and work with the ESPN International and X
Games team for sponsorship fulfilment. After the
establishment of the events strategy in Europe, we also
envisage that you will co-ordinate all X Games related
business and brand development in Europe.
You will have significant experience in event sponsorship
sales in Europe. At manager level, we anticipate you to have
at least 3-5 years sales or event management experience,
and at director level, we are looking for at least 5-7 years.
You will have superb presentation and negotiation skills and
will have excellent sponsorship contacts in the European
sports marketplace.
Applicants should be fluent in English and it would be
useful if you had a second or even third language. A degree
in communications, marketing or the equivalent is also
desirable but not essential.
Please apply, including salary expectations, to:
