Extreme Sports Channel Launched

Our specialisation in the Extreme Sports arena has led us into our most exciting project to-date, the development of the world's first Extreme Sports Channel which launched on May 1st 1999.

The EXTREME SPORTS CHANNEL is a cross between MTV and a sports channel 'The sports channel for the younger generation'. It focuses on Extreme and Adventure Sports and incorporates programming and live events from around the world. The channel, starting with 19 European territories, will be developed world-wide in the first quarter of 2000.

The following are a selection of the spectacular and breathtaking sports that will be featured.

AIR: Base Jumping, Bungy Jumping, Sky Surfing/Diving
BEACH: Volleyball, Sandboarding, Sand Buggying
ROCK: Off Road Rallying, Mountain Climbing, Downhill MT Bing
STREET: BMXing, Skateboarding, In-Line Skating : WATER:Wakeboarding, Extreme Canoeing Surfing/Windsurfing
SNOW & ICE: Ice-Climbing, Snowboarding, Snow Skiing

The following are the initial launch territories:

Austria, Belgium, Czech Rep., Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Holland, Hungary, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Sweden, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland.

We are in carriage discussions with the following Territories:

Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Israel, Japan, New Zealan, Taiwan, UK, USA.
