FOTA Austin Fans’ Forum Wednesday 13th November 2013

Motor racing - 01 Nov 2013
FOTA is delighted to announce its final Fans’ Forum of 2013 will take place in Austin, Texas on Wednesday 13th November. It will take place in the heart of Austin on the site of the “Circuit of the Americas Austin Fans’ Fest fuelled by Shell” at Cedar Street Courtyard.

Starting the festivities for the Austin Grand Prix weekend, a host of Formula One drivers will be in attendance to answer fans’ questions and sign autographs. Jonathan Green of "Speed City" Broadcasting in Austin Texas will be the host, and will be putting questions to Sergio Perez (Vodafone McLaren Mercedes), Esteban Gutierrez (Sauber F1 Team), Alexander Rossi (Caterham F1 Team), Adrian Sutil (Sahara Force India F1 Team) and Pastor Maldonado (WilliamsF1).

Fans can register their attendance free of charge on the FOTA website at www.fota.co/event, and those unable to attend will be able to watch the Forum online, live on YouTube or the FOTA website, or on-demand the following day.

Martin Whitmarsh, Chairman of FOTA, said “We are delighted to be returning to Austin again, and the enthusiasm and knowledge of the fans at last year’s Fans’ Forum and Grand Prix made it an easy decision to host another Forum in Austin. Fan engagement is extremely important for all the Teams, and we have a great selection of participating drivers, and are excited to be utilising the venue of the Fans’ Fest which also gives us an opportunity to accommodate as many fans as possible.”

The event will be open to all media outlets, and accreditation requests should be sent to media@fota.co.
