FrankWarren.TV Video Website Boosts Content
Weeks after signing an exclusive agreement with Frank Warren’s Sports Network, Sportev has launched the first fully interactive online boxing video channel - FrankWarren.tv.
'This is fantastic news for boxing fans,' says Frank Warren. 'They will have the best boxers from the last twenty years at their fingertips. The amount of detail that these fights will go into is just incredible; nothing that is around at the moment will compare to it. I am delighted to be involved in this project and ultimately it is the fans who will benefit.'
After a successful dry run with preview content featuring highlights of Joe Calzaghe’s classic bout against Chris Eubank, fight fans can now access a vast array of footage from Frank Warren’s rich stable of fighters via Sportev’s micro Pay-Per-View mechanism.
In addition to the Calzaghe v Eubank bout FrankWarren.tv is showcasing three new boxing features.
The ‘Great Rivalries’ season kicks off with heavyweight Julius Francis’ first British and Commonwealth bout against Danny Williams while the ‘Youngbloods’ special begins with a look at light-welterweight Ricky Hatton’s bruising encounter against Tony Pep.
The ‘Fighter focus’ feature showcases Hatton’s phenomenal power and stunning KO’s to date as well as opinion from some of the biggest names in boxing.
As well as access to Warren’s archive footage, as an added bonus, customers are also able to take an exclusive look at the 'Sports Model of the Year Awards', which took place at Shoeless Joes earlier in the summer.
With twice-monthly updates and Prince Naseem Hamed showcases to come, hardcore fight fanatics and armchair fans alike have, for the first time, an online service to satisfy all their boxing video-on-demand needs.
Sportev CEO Will Muirhead says: 'FrankWarren.tv is the first Pay-Per-View boxing channel available on the internet. Sportev are proud to have delivered the full solution to Sports Network.'
