Global Sportnet Announces New Partnership in Boxing with Sauerland and ARD

Global Sportnet, the Sports marketing Agency of the WPP Group, and the longstanding business partners Sauerland Event GmbH and ARD Werbung SALES & SERVICES GmbH (ASS) have forged an exclusive partnership to market all boxing events which will be broadcast live on 'Das Erste' (ARD) as of 2005.
Global Sportnet, in cooperation with ASS, has taken over the complete marketing of Sauerland Boxing events, which starts with around 10-12 events 2005.
The overall marketing strategy offers TV programme-sponsoring, phone- in-competitions as well as location branding and sponsorship rights for the Sauerland events.
Included in this offer is the TV programme sponsoring and phone-in-competition on TV for 4 fights with Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko.
