ISL concludes yet another important television rights arrangement for the FIFA World Cup 2002
ISL Television continues to set a hot pace in the conclusion of rights deals allowing the world's top broadcasters to secure coverage of the world's most important event. This new deal, which will ensure extensive live, free-to-air coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2002 in Venezuela, is part of ISL's ongoing campaign to build an ever increasing global audience for the Tournament.
ISL Television is responsible for selling, on behalf of FIFA, the FIFA World Cup 2002 and 2006 television and radio rights throughout the Americas (with the sole exception of the USA), Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, and Africa. This latest contract, following on from the earlier ground-breaking deal with Rede Globo in Brazil, is the second in the region. Further deals, both in Latin America and in other parts of the World are expected very soon.
ISL Television's new Venezuelan television partners are now guaranteed the pre-eminent position in their industry as they prepare for the new millenium.
