Less Than Two Weeks to go to Stadia & Arena 2011 in Marseille

Business - 03 Jun 2011

Delegates to the Stadia & Arena conference and exhibition in Marseille (June 15 to 17) will be given a unique insight into the development of one of the world’s most prestigious stadia the new velodrome, which is under construction in the city.

Bruno Botella, President of AREMA, the consortium of businesses involved in the development of the new velodrome, will be leading a delegation of eight senior members of the consortium.

And they will be joined by the Chief Executive of the City of Marseille, M. Jean Claude Gondard, including the projects architect team who have been responsible for supervising the development.

The Stadia & Arena conference brings together a diverse group of leading industry speakers, whose presentations cover almost all the vital aspects of venue and stadium design, construction, refurbishment and management. Delegates will hear about plans for the UEFA Euro 2016 championships and the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco both of which involve new and refurbished stadia as well as from arena designers and service providers, and how to maximise profitability through sponsorship and making most use of existing facilities.

‘The industry is under unprecedented pressure to maximise profitability and invest wisely for the future’, says Event Director Alan Levett. This is a unique opportunity to hear from the highest ranking professionals about how they are tackling the pressures of increasing demand and calls for maximised productivity.?
The delegate fee to the conference also includes two lunches, a cocktail reception and a prestigious reception, sponsored by Phillips, at the renowned Palais du Pharo.
