The Spanish basketball league (Liga Endesa) has consolidated itself as the most represented national competition at the Eurobasket, with a total of 31 players, a leadership that has been held for the last 7 editions.
The Liga Endesa (Spain) will be the national league with the biggest presence at the Eurobasket that will take place between the 5th and the 20th of September in several places of France, Germany, Latvia and Croatia. 31 players from Liga Endesa 2015-16 teams will be present during the tournament.
The leadership of the Spanish league at the Eurobasket will occur for the seventh consecutive time, because it was the most represented league on the last editions of Sweden (2003), Belgrade (2005), Spain (2007), Poland (2009), Lithuania (2011) and Slovenia (2013).
Liga Endesa representatives are spread among 16 of the 24 participating national teams: Spain (9 players), Belgium (3), Serbia (2), Macedonia (2), Lithuania (2), Georgia (2), Slovenia (2), Germany (1), Croatia (1), Finland (1), Greece (1), Netherlands (1), Latvia (1), Poland (1), Czech Republic (1) and Ukraine (1).
After Liga Endesa, the most represented leagues are NBA and the Turkish TBL with 29 players.
