2012 Convention Adds Super Bowl and NHL to Speaker Line-up
Lausanne, Switzerland – SportAccord Convention today announced that Allison Melangton, President and CEO of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee, National Hockey League COO John Collins and LPGA US Open winner Jane Geddes, who is Vice President, Talent Relations of World Wrestling Entertainment, will be conference speakers at the 10th anniversary SportAccord Convention in Québec City this spring.
Steve O'Donnell, NASCAR’s VP of Racing Operations, UK Sport chair Baroness Sue Campbell and Peter Murray, VP Talent at the William Morris Agency, have also joined the conference programme of the summit of world sport taking place at the Québec City Convention Centre from May 20-25, 2012.
The conference, with the general theme of “A Decade of Change, A Future of Promise,” will also feature US National Olympic Committee CEO Scott Blackmun, Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore and Peter Bayer, CEO of Innsbruck 2012 - Host City for the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games, on a programme packed with other stellar speaker names previously announced.
Conference sessions will include hot topics such as “Socially responsible sport – Who, Why and How Much?” and “Quick Hits & Mobile Clips…Will sports TV viewers still watch live games and events in 10 years?”
