Sky Bet Appoints Pitch for Consumer PR Push
Pitch has been engaged on an initial six month contract with the aim of building Sky Bet’s brand proposition. Pitch will be creating consumer campaigns around Premier League football, betting on reality TV programmes such as X Factor, and leveraging Sky Bet’s title sponsorship of the World Grand Prix Darts championship taking place in Dublin in October. Pitch has also been tasked with raising the profile of Sky Bet’s spokesperson Helen Jacob in both sports and entertainment media.
David McIntosh, Marketing Controller of Sky Bet, said:
“Our consumer brand proposition – ‘It matters more when there’s money on it’ – has been extremely effective and we have appointed a leading consumer agency to aid us in further developing the profile of the brand across sports, entertainment and mainstream media. Pitch offer specialist expertise of the gaming sector, together with a broad media expertise and exceptional media contacts. They demonstrated an intuitive understanding of our brand during the pitch process, and we are confident they will do a great job for Sky Bet over the coming months.”
