Sportfive Prolongs Partnership with CSKA Moscow
Hamburg, 12 October 2004 – The successful long-term partnership between SPORTFIVE, the international sports rights marketer, and the Russian top-league club CSKA Moskva has recently been prolonged for another two years.
The cooperation covers the marketing of TV and advertising rights for all home and away matches in international competition.
'We are very pleased to be continuing our partnership with SPORTFIVE in the international arena and to also be expanding our cooperation on the Russian market,' emphasises Evgeni Giner, president of CSKA Moskva and president of Russia’s Premier-Liga.
'SPORTFIVE directed its focus to the important Russian market at a very early stage and has since built up a network of good contacts and successful co-operations. We value our partnership with CSKA Moskva very much,' says Robert Müller von Vultejus, member of the Management Board at the SPORTFIVE Group and responsible for the trade in international TV rights.
In the upcoming 2005 season, therefore, SPORTFIVE will be handling and marketing the various rights of eleven of the sixteen clubs in Russia’s top football league.
