Gymnastics - 17 Apr 2013

The European Union of Gymnastics (UEG), the Governing body for European Gymnastics is proud to announce the signature of a global Partnership Agreement with Kapital Bank, the oldest bank in Azerbaijan.

After the signature of the agreement, the UEG President, Georges Guelzec, did not hide his satisfaction: “Our Union and its 48 member federations is delighted and proud of this partnership, concluded with a renowned and well established bank in a country where gymnastics has a strong tradition. This agreement will allow us to support our projects in the field of development and communication” he declared.

On his side, Mr Yashar Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of the Kapital Bank’s Board is pleased with this agreement and underlines: “Gymnastics is one of the most important Olympic disciplines enjoying very high viewing figures and an important media impact. The European Union of Gymnastics with its eight different disciplines is therefore a very interesting partner for the Kapital Bank”.

Giancarlo Sergi, SINERGI Managing Director (UEG Marketing Agency) added: our agency is proud to be the catalyst of UEG business development. We have been working hard to find the best Partner for our client, UEG, and we are delighted that this Partnership came to fruition with such an important institution in Azerbaijan.

The signature of the agreement took place in the frame work of the 5th European Artistic Gymnastics championships which are currently held in the Russian capital Moscow.
