Braun joins Octagon Germany to work with new client Hyundai

Octagon, the international sports and entertainment company, has announced the appointment of Juliane Braun to a new role at its German arm.
Braun (pictured) will serve as a senior account manager working in the automotive and motorsport sector at the Frankfurt office, including with new client Hyundai Germany.
She has joined Octagon Germany from Lagardère Plus, the brand consulting division of Lagardère, the media giant heavily involved in sports marketing.
Octagon pointed out that Braun is the eighth new addition since Karsten Petry arrived as managing director of the German arm last May.
Braun has spent three years at Lagardère Plus, working on cross-media brand campaigns, and has experience aiding clients such as Nissan, PepsiCo and HTC in their Uefa Champions League campaigns.
One of her previous employers is akzio!, the German agency that counts Petry among its former executives.
Petry said today: “I am happy and proud to have recruited Juliane with her agency experience in strategic-conception, as well as operational matters. Her expertise, especially in the automotive sector, makes her extremely valuable for us in view of the new projects we are planning together with Hyundai.
“With her ambition to work for international clients and projects, she fits us perfectly. Juliane will help us with her knowhow, her network and her personality to further expand our position in the German market.”
