Motorsport Network appoints Stegelmann as chief commercial officer

Motorsport Network, the USA-based digital media company, has today announced the appointment of Lars Stegelmann as its new chief commercial officer.
Stegelmann will be responsible for expanding the platform's global commercial profile, and will be based in Munich.
He previously headed up the commercial division of Nielsen, the consulting firm, for six years, and was involved with European soccer’s governing body Uefa, motor racing series Formula E, and with the commercial side of soccer’s 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.
He also worked for professional services powerhouse PwC for over seven years.
Oliver Ciesla, Motorsport Network’s chief operating officer, said: “Lars, in addition to his extensive international network, also has a great understanding of the advertising industry, media companies and agencies.
