The City of Edmonton has appointed TSE Consulting as lead consultants in its bid for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Eurosport 2 is to broadcast live coverage and highlights of the 22nd Winter Universiade that will be held in Innsbruck-Seefeld, Austria from January 12th to January 22nd.

The presence of university sports on the televisions of the world is one of the main objectives of FISU for its 2004-2008 communication plan. At the Daegu Universiade in 2003 extensive TV coverage allowed FISU to reach 700,000,000 viewers, particularly in Asia. With the arrival of the Universiades in Europe in 2005 (Innsbruck and Izmir), media coverage will be enlarged, a consequence of the efforts FISU has been making with various broadcasters.

The Organising Committee of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games has today announced the appointment of Fast Track, a leading sports marketing agency, to market the International broadcast rights for the next Commonwealth Games.

The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) today confirmed that in conjunction with M2002 (the organising committee for this summer’s Commonwealth Games), UK Sport has been contracted to manage the anti-doping programme during the Games, which commence in Manchester on July 25th.
