The recent Minigolf European Cup for national club champion teams was won by 1.MGC Mainz (Germany) and Uppsala BGK (Sweden), with both sides successfully defending the titles in the women’s and men’s competitions. The win was extra special for Uppsala BGK as it was the fifth EMF European Cup victory in-a-row for the club.

The Minigolf European Cup for national club champion teams is taking place in Schriesheim, Germany. Over three-days 108 players, eleven men’s and nine women’s teams will compete on the 18-hole Miniaturegolf course at MC Schriesheim, with the final played on Saturday 4 October.

The summer minigolf season got well under way at the weekend as Marcel Noack successfully defended his title in the Nestlé Schöller Filzgolf-Masters competition in Niederstetten, Germany that saw 44 players compete over seven rounds at Minigolfanlage Niederstetten from the 31 May to the 1 June.

The twelfth edition of the WMF World Minigolf Championships was held in Bad Münder, Germany on the 21st to the 24th of August. A total of 149 players from 27 countries competed in the biannual tournament with a total of six World Titles contested.

The three-day competition saw Uppsala BGK from Sweden crowned as the EMF European Cup men’s champions, with MGC Göttingen from Germany victorious in the EMF European Cup women’s championship.

The Nations Cup events are traditional tournaments held prior to European and World Championships. The weekend saw a clean-sweep of victories for Germany.
