The recent Minigolf European Cup for national club champion teams was won by 1.MGC Mainz (Germany) and Uppsala BGK (Sweden), with both sides successfully defending the titles in the women’s and men’s competitions. The win was extra special for Uppsala BGK as it was the fifth EMF European Cup victory in-a-row for the club.

The Minigolf European Cup for national club champion teams is taking place in Schriesheim, Germany. Over three-days 108 players, eleven men’s and nine women’s teams will compete on the 18-hole Miniaturegolf course at MC Schriesheim, with the final played on Saturday 4 October.

The twelfth edition of the WMF World Minigolf Championships was held in Bad Münder, Germany on the 21st to the 24th of August. A total of 149 players from 27 countries competed in the biannual tournament with a total of six World Titles contested.

A total of 82 players from eleven countries competed in the WMF Open Youth European Championships of Minigolf in Portel, Portugal from the 7th to the 10th of August. Six European titles were decided in the tournament with winners coming from Austria, Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic.

The WMF Open Youth European Championships of Minigolf will be taking place in Portel, Portugal from the 7th to the 10th of August with players from eleven countries competing on the two 18-hole courses.

The WMF World Adventure Golf Masters minigolf tournament was played on the 18-hole Pirate Adventure Golf Course in Hastings, England on the 15th and 16th June. A total of seven teams and 37 players representing Finland, Germany, Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland and Sweden competed in the World Minigolf Sport Federation event.

Over the weekend of the 18th and 19th May three international Minigolf championships took place across Europe, with the Nations Cup being contested in Youth, Adult and Senior player categories in Portugal, Germany and the Netherlands.

The World Minigolf summer season will officially open this coming weekend (18-19th of May, 2013) in three European cities.

The tenth-annual ‘Castle Golf’ World Crazy Golf Championships took place at the Hastings seafront Adventure Golf Complex in Hastings, East Sussex on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October. 53 players from six countries competed in the two-day event that was won by England’s Michael Smith.

Two International Minigolf Championships were contested between the 15th and 18th August, with the World Minigolf Sport Federation’s Youth World Championships held in Bad Münder, Germany and the European Minigolf Sport Federation’s Senior European Championships played for in Rozemaai, Belgium.

Over the weekend of the 26th and 27th May three international Minigolf championships took place, with the Nations Cup being contested in Youth, Adult and Senior player categories in Germany, Portugal and Belgium. The Nations Cup events are traditional tournaments held prior to European and World Championships. The weekend saw a clean-sweep of victories for Germany.
