(Kaohsiung) On April 15, the Kaohsiung Organizing Committee closed its application for media accreditation for The World Games 2009. Until April 7, there were a total of 70 international media applications approved by the committee, consisting of 32 from Asia, 23 from Europe, 6 from Latin America, 6 from North America 2 from Oceania and 1 from Africa. Asian applications include 3 from Hong Kong and 2 from China. Five applicants did not meet the qualification and had been declined.
