Lausanne and Frankfurt, June 15, 2004—The International Rowing Federation (FISA) and BearingPoint Inc., one of the world’s largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firms, announced today that BearingPoint will continue to be the title sponsor of the 2005, 2006 and 2007 World Cup series and the presenting sponsor of the 2005, 2006 and 2007 World Rowing Championships.

FISA, the International Rowing Federation, has entered into a new partnership with BearingPoint, one of the world’s largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firms, for the 2003 and 2004 rowing season.

The 110th Ordinary Annual Congress of the International Rowing Federation (FISA) took place in Seville, Spain on Saturday 14 September. Over 110 delegates from 60 countries were present at the Congress, held on the eve of the annual World Rowing Championships which commence in Seville on Sunday.

UK SPORT today gave its full backing to Britain’s bid to host the 2006 World Rowing Championships at Dorney Lake in Windsor.
