Channel 4 has acquired exclusive terrestrial rights to the Snowboard World Championships being held in Whistler, British Colombia, January 15-23. Channel 4 will dedicate over five hours of coverage to the championships, complemented by an agreement with digital broadcaster Extreme Sports Channel for extended highlights across UK, Europe and the Middle East. These agreements were negotiated by London-based RDA Communications for international rights owner Wige Media of Cologne.
