Luis Moreno, ex-president of the South American Confederation was found to be an unworthy member of the FIVB and was expelled from the sport by the FIVB Executive Committee Members

The Board of Administration of the International Volleyball Federation, meeting at its headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland on 5 May, unanimously decided to suspend, with immediate effect, Mr. Luis Moreno as President of the South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV) and from all his positions in Volleyball organised at national, continental and world level.

The Executive Committee of the Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB) on Thursday decided to expel former president of the Argentine Volleyball Federation, Mario Goijman for repeated and serious breaches of the FIVB Constitution and Code of Conduct, and for violations of the organizations agreement of the 2002 Men’s World Championship hosted in October 2002 in Argentina.
